Education continues to face a myriad of challenges in Nigeria as it is in most African countries. This is made more complicated with the COVID-19 pandemic which is awakening us to certain realities that shows that Nigeria is not well prepared and equipped to deal with the immediate and potential dangers of such or any crisis alike. There is a responsibility to ensure that education is qualitative enough as Nigeria ranks 124th out of 137 countries in terms of quality of primary education (World Economic Forum, 2017), and if anything, the realities of COVID-19 has made us see the need to integrate technology as a tool to ensure we achieve the goal of education for all.
