About the Speakers:
Rashmi Gopinath is a General Partner at B Capital Group focusing on investments in cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, devops, and artificial intelligence and machine learning. She brings over two decades of experience investing and operating in enterprise technologies.
Ms. Gopinath was previously a Managing Director at M12, Microsoft's venture fund, where she led investments globally in the enterprise space. At M12, Ms. Gopinath sat on several Boards including Synack, Innovaccer, Incorta, Paxata (Acq. DataRobot), Frame (Acq. Nutanix) among others.
Prior to M12, Ms. Gopinath was an Investment Director with Intel Capital where she was involved in the firm’s investments in startups including MongoDB (NASDAQ: MDB), ForeScout (NASDAQ: FSCT), Maginatics (Acq. EMC), BlueData (Acq. HPE).
Ms. Gopinath held operating roles at high-growth startups such as BlueData and Couchbase where she led global business development and product marketing. She began her career in engineering and product roles at Oracle and GE Healthcare. Ms. Gopinath earned an M.B.A. from Northwestern University, and a B.S. in Engineering from University of Mumbai in India.
Dhana is an angel investor and a product executive with deep expertise in digital retail. She has led award winning products and teams for Fortune 500 companies & startups. Although Dhana was originally on track to pursue a career in bureaucracy, she quickly realized her love of technology and has been in the industry ever since.
Currently, Dhana is the co-founder of Veratempo, where she takes companies from ideation to hyper growth. Prior to Veratempo, Dhana was a General Manager at TripAdvisor where she led the company’s growth in the untapped consumer ticketing business. Making a positive impact through tech is at the core of Dhana’s work as an angel investor; she looks for companies with passionate people that are working to solve real world problems.
Dhana is a regular speaker at tech events and is a strong advocate for women in technology. She has been quoted in a wide variety of leading media outlets, including CNN, ABC News, and All Things Digital. She has been the founding member of Silicon Valley Girls in Tech and sits on the advisory boards of the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center & OhmniLabs.
Divya brings a mix of operational and investment experience in enterprise technology to NGP Capital. Prior to NGP Capital, Divya was a Senior Product Manager at SugarCRM, where she led development of their platform products and drove product adoption in the developer community. She was also a software engineer at Citrix, where she built and launched features for their enterprise mobility product line.
Divya brings a strong technical acumen to venture investing. Before and during business school, she gained investing experience at several different VC funds, including Costanoa ventures and Samsung NEXT ventures. At NGP Capital, Divya is on the US investment team with a thematic focus on Intelligent Enterprise and Mobile Technologies.
Divya received an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management, a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Florida, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from SJCE in India.
Priya is a Partner at Softbank Investment Advisers and is passionate about investing in and partnering with ground-breaking entrepreneurs at the intersection of software and consumer technology.
Priya has over a decade of experience in venture capital and corporate development. Most recently, she was part of Mayfield Fund and a founding member of M12 (Microsoft's venture capital fund). Previously, she was part of Square's Corporate Development and Strategy team, where she led several acquisitions in the mobile payments, SMB software, and AI and ML spaces.
Her prior investments include Element AI, Go1, Skedulo, Workboard and Bonsai, which got acquired by Microsoft. Priya's industry visibility and track record earned her a spot in the 2019 Forbes 30 under 30 venture capital list. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration and graduated with highest honors from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley. In her spare time, Priya enjoys hip hop dancing, cuddling with her puppy and two cats, and eating her way through all the restaurants in San Francisco.
