Our mandate as The Global Shapers Community Lagos Hub is to facilitate dialogue and to develop scalable solutions under the pillars of Education & Employment, Equity & Inclusion, and Climate & Environment in our nation. We are aware of the enormous need for civic education amongst Nigerian citizens. We believe civic education on good governance, participatory democracy, human rights, civic duties and leadership is critical to driving lasting change in our society.

As Nigeria prepares for elections in the year 2023, our aim is to equip Nigerians to make more informed decisions and actively participate in the democratic activities that shape the world around them. Civic education will ultimately invoke critical reflection and participation in democratic activities such as elections, volunteering and town hall meetings. It will also ensure accountability among government.
